Biomedical Device Technologies

The program includes 2 years of formal education consisting of 4 semesters. Students who are successful in a total of 120 ECTS courses at the graduation stage are entitled to graduate. Education is carried out in accordance with the “Akdeniz University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations”. Success Evaluations are carried out within the framework of "Akdeniz University Exam and Success Evaluation Directive".

Our graduate students have the title of Biomedical Device Technology Technician. He finds the opportunity to work in the technical departments of companies working on biomedical devices. Our graduate students are equipped to work in the medical analysis, operating room and intensive care units of public and private hospitals.

By educating our graduates as technicians who have professional theoretical knowledge and have the ability to apply, who can use information and communication technologies with skill, who follow and apply developing technologies, who understand the importance of lifelong development professionally, and who act in accordance with professional ethics, they have received training in the field of biomedical device technology. Our aim is to meet the staff needs.

Following the basic science, mathematics and computer courses, the above-mentioned department courses are given to our students as theoretical and practical. We also have a biomedical laboratory.
